My name is Josaiah Valente, I was born in December of 2001 making me 19 years old as of January 2021. I’m currently in my 2nd year majoring in multimedia arts at Malayan Colleges Laguna.
Throughout the majority of my life, I’ve always shown interest in art. I do logo making, layout design, and as a hobby photography. Recently I’ve gotten into digital painting to which I am very invested in. Some of my biggest inspirations I refer to when I work are Bernadett Timko, Isobel Kelly, Nephorosoupp, Novasdayi, and Kel Lauren. I look forward to my own personal growth as a visual artist.
As for experiences, I’m part of an art guild consisting of my closest friends. We produce and sell artworks in conventions and just recently online too. I mostly help on the administrative side of things while also selling my own works. One of our biggest achievements happened just a few months ago when we were able to raise up to 1.8k pesos for those affected by Typhoon Ulysses.
The point of this website is this where I will be posting assignment ‘blogs’ as per requirement of the course WRITING FOR NEW MEDIA that I’m taking for this school term.
From here on out I would like to pursue my career in graphic designing and hope to bring something new into the table in the design world.
